Beta USA has hired Bill Anderson and Rod Overstreet as dealer development managers, charged with supporting and growing the off-road motorcycle OEM’s dealer network, the company announced.
Anderson will oversee the western states, while Overstreet will manage the eastern states.
“Our factory has increased production to meet the demands of the U.S. market, so it made sense to expand our dealer support team,” Beta USA President Tim Pilg said in a press release. “The main focus is to work with our existing dealer network to provide them with the tools to be successful, as well as to add new dealers in open areas where we currently have Beta riders but no dealers near them.”
A lifelong motorcycle fan who has received Yamaha and Honda sales training, Anderson has held numerous sales and customer service positions at motorcycle dealerships. Previously, Anderson managed a Beta dealership, where he became familiar with the brand and its off-road models.
Overstreet has 35 years in the powersports industry. He began his career working for motorcycle dealerships before holding sales and marketing positions at OEMs KTM, Husqvarna, and Gas Gas.
Based in Paso Robles, Calif., Beta USA announced the launch of its 2020 model lineup on July 16. The models, which feature eight engine sizes and new frames, will be on display at AIMExpo on September 26-29 in Columbus, Ohio.
