CDK Global Recreation, a developer of digital management tools for powersports dealerships, has partnered with J.D. Power’s NADAguides division to integrate the data company’s vehicle values into CDK’s LightspeedEVO product.
The CDK platform features sales, parts, servicing and F&I management tools. NADAguides publishes vehicle pricing for motorcycles, boats, and RVs.
Integrating NADAguides data directly into LightspeedEVO will help make “dealers more productive and more efficient,” Kris Denos, CDK’s vice president and general manager of recreation and heavy equipment, told Powersports Finance. Previously, dealers using the two products when handling a trade-in, for instance, would have to switch from the DMS to NADAguides’ website to attain the vehicle values, and then enter that information into LightspeedEVO.
“It was a little bit disjointed where [dealers would] have to go out and look this [data] up separately,” Denos said. “So, going into [LightspeedEVO], you’re adding the customer’s trade, you can do the NADA look up right there, you can put in the options depending on the unit so you can get the most accurate trade value possible — and you can use that information to work the deal.”
The LightspeedEVO update containing the NADAguides tools was released in November.
