The conference will take place Oct. 23-24 at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront. Registration can be submitted here.
The trio of panelists — Lenny Sims, vice president of development and strategy at NADAguides; Jim Woodruff, chief operating officer at NPA; and Scott Yarbrough, editor at Black Book — will discuss utilizing the latest segment valuations to mitigate underwriting risk, repossession volume trends and tips for maximizing auction returns, and pricing expectations by model year.
Sims has 30 years of experience in editorial, management, business development and digital analysis, and currently oversees all aspects of NADAguides. The publication gathers market-reflecting pricing on powersports vehicles and automobiles. Recently, it published a July report that found cruiser prices are at their highest values since 2017.
Woodruff has 25 years of experience in the high-tech and recreational industries, and 19 working specifically in powersports. NPA offers lenders and dealers auction-related services, including an online auction platform in addition to physical auction facilities. The company recently added a second live monthly auction to its Dallas facility, and opened a new satellite facility in Portland, Ore.
Yarbrough has been working at Black Book for 20 years and oversaw the powersports segment’s expansion from a printed guide to a digital entity. Black Book is a daily publication that provides data and pricing for powersports, automobiles, trucks and other vehicles.
The panel, titled “A Comprehensive Review of Vehicle Values,” will take place Thursday, Oct. 24, at 9:45 a.m.
