Cruisers, ATVs, dual sport climb 20% in auction volume

Domestic cruisers, dual sport bikes and ATVs climbed more than 20% in sales volume at auction in June, likely a result of lenders financing more vehicles in those categories, said Tony Altieri, business development manager at  National Powersport Auctions.

Sales volume in the motocross (MX) and domestic cruiser categories climbed 26% year over year. Volume for dual sport bikes rose 25%, while ATV volume increased 24% year over year, according to NPA provided Powersports Finance.
