Fuel Capital Group has appointed Stephen Pietrowicz as senior vice president of sales and marketing, the company has announced.
In the newly created role, Pietrowicz will guide the company in partnering with dealerships while identifying new sales opportunities. Fuel Capital created the position to help manage the company’s growing dealer base.
“We developed this role intentionally to make certain Fuel built a professional sales machine that can scale up with the business and serve the needs of our expanding family of dealer partners,” Chief Executive and President Peter Wasmer told Powersports Finance.

Pietrowicz joined the company on April 22. Previously, he was vice president of sales for AutoTrakk, an automobile leasing company. Additionally, he has held sales and marketing positions at United Auto Credit Corp. and Chrysler Financial.
“Fuel is growing exponentially daily,” Wasmer said. “Professionally managing sales activities, team development, and setting expectations in a scalable machine is essential for where we are taking this company. Steve’s sales management style and industry experience make him an ideal fit with the Fuel team and our culture.”
Naples, Fla.-based Fuel Capital originates leases for Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycles. Fuel Capital works with more than 150 dealers in 20 states.
