iMotorsports targets spot as top-3 Indian dealer

iMotorsports plans to become the third highest-selling dealer of Indian Motorcycles in the country by yearend, 18 months after selling its first Indian product, Finance Director Robert Matt told Powersports Finance. The dealership is currently ranked fifth nationally in Indian Motorcycle sales.

iMotorsports’ Elmhurst, Ill. -based store started selling Indian Motorcycles in May 2018. In the past 12 months, it has sold 172 Indian bikes, of which 106 were financed, Matt said. The dealership finances Indian Motorcycles through lenders such as Performance Finance, Fifth Third Bank, Synchrony Financial, and Speed Leasing.

The dealer is 10 bike sales away from fourth place and less than 15 sales away from third place, Matt added.

iMotorsports credits reaching the top five Indian dealers with its “fly and ride program,” which allows consumers from out-of-state to make purchases at the store. “Then we’ll ship that unit free of charge to the 48 states,” Matt explained. “We’re also offering a lifetime warranty on our Indians, and that is through EFG Companies. Plus, we’re going to match almost any [price], and we’re going to take every deal out there.”

iMotorsports has two other locations — one in St. Petersburg, Fla., and the other in Orlando. The dealer group finances non-Indian motorcycles with American Cycle Finance and MotoLease.
