ARI Network Services Inc. launched Inventory Notifier, a new feature to ARI’s platform designed to help powersports dealers “connect the dots” between the dealer, consumer, and financial provider, according to Vice President of Product Management Brad Smith.
Inventory Notifier allows dealers to acquire more leads by providing consumers the ability to request updates on dealer inventory that may not be in stock via an email notification, Smith told Powersports Finance.
Inventory requests are also captured and made available to the dealers, which can increase their sales and increase financing volume via the dealers’ financial partners, Smith said.
“We are seeing that people are still financing a majority of their purchases,” he said. Each request via the Inventory Notifier “has a highly likelihood of increasing financing” because dealers can “quickly follow-up on inventory opportunities, and start working the financing angle, trade-in, and otherwise while they work on sourcing that unit.”
The dealers can use the Inventory Notifier “as a driver to close that opportunity proactively” and “shorten the lead time” of getting the financing together to connect the consumer with the unit. “It connects those dots in a fluid, easy way,” he added.
ARI Network Services, a Milwaukee, Wis.-based dealer and manufacturer software provider, launched Inventory Notifier on Feb. 4, which was made available to the company’s network of 1,600 powersports dealers in March.
