Lenders, Dealers to Discuss How to Strengthen Relationships at PowerSports Finance 2018

A panel of top lenders and dealer managers will discuss how to build strong relationships with each other during an Industry Roundtable entitled “Improving Lender-Dealer Relationships,” at PowerSports Finance 2018.

“Improving Lender-Dealer Relationships” will take place on the first day of the conference, starting at 4 PM. It will be followed by a cocktail reception, where industry professionals can mingle and network while enjoying a cool drink.

The panelists include Ben Donnarumma, managing director of American Cycle Finance; Kristi Mercier, director of operations at ThunderRoad Financial; Chase Vance, regional operations manager of Freedom Powersports; and Brad Van Horn, owner of Buy Your Motorcycle.

The four industry experts will discuss a variety of topics surrounding lender-dealer relationships, such as the benefits of promoting finance earlier in the sales process to boost sales, best practices, tools for mitigating fraud, and tips for building a strong relationship.

Ben Donnarumma has over 30 years’ experience in the powersports and auto business having built five dealerships as well as a subprime finance company.

Kristi Mercier has been with ThunderRoad Financial since 2014 and she was formerly at Harley-Davidson Financial Services for six years where her duties included leading the Fraud Risk Team for Underwriting.

Freedom Powersports is a dealership group with 14 locations across three states where Chase Vance is responsible for the development of stable operations within a dealership and developing strategies for a high performing sales and financing departments.

Brad Van Horn has 15 years of experience working in powersports dealerships and founded Buy Your Motorcycle, a dealership that concentrates on used Harley-Davidsons and deep subprime credit.
