MIC President Tim Buche to Speak on the State of Powersports Finance

Motorcycle Industry Council President and Chief Executive Tim Buche will open the 2018 PowerSports Finance conference with a review of the state of powersports finance.

Tim Buche will provide attendees with a summary of data and findings collected by the Motorcycle Industry Council in a presentation called “The State of Powersports Finance.” In the presentation, Buche will discuss such topics as dealer demographics and buying preferences, industry outlook by product segment, and an overview of powersports finance products, deal structure, finance providers.

As the president and chief executive of the MIC, Buche oversees the organization’s efforts to preserve and promote the powersports industry. The MIC is a national trade association supporting motorcyclists in the U.S. by representing manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and retailers of motorcycles, scooters, ATVs, ROVs, accessories, and related goods and services.

In addition to the MIC, Buche is the president and chief executive of several industry trade organizations within the powersports industry. He works with the Recreational Off-Highway Association, promoting safety in the use of off-road vehicles; the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America, which promotes the safe and responsible use of ATVs through rider programs, public awareness campaigns, and state legislation; and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, which creates education and training courses for motorcycle riders.
