MotoLease LLC is planning another dealer seminar for September, following a successful training session in late April, Managing Partner Emre Ucer told Powersports Finance.
The September seminar will be offered over two days, with a focus on training dealers to use some of MotoLease’s new product and system enhancements — which the company has planned to launch in the coming months, he said.
The inaugural two-day seminar, which was hosted the last weekend in April, “went really well,” Ucer said. Approximately 30 dealers attended, and MotoLease projects close to 100 to attend the September training.

The first day of the April seminar was focused on MotoLease financing, as well as F&I products, and the second day was dedicated to third-party partners that attended and presented their services, including EFG Companies and National Powersport Auctions, Ucer said.
The seminar covered how dealers can benefit from add-on products, such as service contracts, insurance programs, and more. Another topic covered was “what dealers can do to help with the underwriting and verification as part of the application process, so that everything goes smooth and there are no surprises,” Ucer added.
“Dealers really enjoyed it, but this was more training on the F&I product,” Ucer said. “The [seminars] in September will focus more on a lot of system enhancements that we have coming up, so we want to go through those new improvements.”
On the second day of the September training, MotoLease hopes to offer F&I certification, Ucer said. Dealers can send F&I managers or related staff to the seminar, and at the end MotoLease will provide a certification of completion to attendees, he added.
MotoLease is still in the market to hire a professional dealer training specialist, who will take over the September seminar, Ucer said. MotoLease is reviewing candidates, but hopes to hire the specialist this month.
