Maurice Salter, co-founder of MotoLease LLC, will sit down for a fireside chat at PowerSports Finance 2017, Oct. 24-25, at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Salter has extensive experience in developing and successfully growing financial companies, including the private student loan program for Bank of America. He served as the chair of the UCLA Foundation from 2011 through 2013 and remains as a board member, currently serving as chair of UCLA’s Audit Committee. As chair, Salter established the UCLA Investment Company to manage the University’s $4 billion endowment.
Salter is also a board member of Education Credit Management Company, the nation’s third largest guarantor of federal student loans. He chairs ECMC’s Finance Committee and is a member of ECMC’s Audit and Investment Committees.
In 2010, Salter co-founded MotoLease with the goal of providing unique consumer financing and payment solutions to address a changing consumer finance marketplace in the powersport industry. Los Angeles, Calif.-based MotoLease offers indirect consumer leases through its network of more than 1,000 authorized dealers in the U.S.
Salter’s fireside chat will be followed by a panel entitled “Credit Trends in Powersports Finance,” which will offer insight into current origination trends and an outlook on credit performance. Other sessions include: Finding Loan Growth Amid Increasing Competition, F&I Dos and Don’ts, and Regulatory Compliance Update.
