National Powersports Auction is expanding its eSale platform and will now sell units every business day of the year in order to help dealers buy inventory, the company announced.
eSale is NPA’s online bidding platform that allows dealers to refill their inventories between the company’s monthly auctions. The platform offers more than 1,000 vehicles every month, NPA Chief Operating Officer Jim Woodruff told Powersports Finance. Through the platform, dealerships can view the condition of the vehicle, see the NADA value, how long the unit has been available, the current bid, and who is the top bidder.
Additionally, vehicles will be posted on eSale for two business days, compared with three days, previously.
“We are always looking for ways to evolve our customer experience,” Woodruff said. “When dealer feedback aligns with our internal strategy, it makes deploying the technology that much easier. By decreasing the run times and expanding the closing days, we are able to offer more product to our buyers more often, which means buyers can obtain inventory faster and sellers benefit from quicker turn times.”
NPA currently has six locations, each with its own monthly auction. NPA auctions are held in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Dallas, Philadelphia, San Diego, and Madison, Wisc.
