NPA Grows in Philadelphia, Eyes Expansion in Midwest

National Powersports Auction, an auction and remarketing services provider in the powersports industry, moved to a new, larger facility in Bristol, Pa. this month, Jim Woodruff, chief operating officer, told Powersports Finance.

“We’ve been in [the Pennsylvania] market for a year and moved from our first facility, which was kind of a pilot, into this new facility, that’s almost four times bigger,” Woodruff said.

NPA opened the original facility in Bristol, Pa. in December 2016 and held its first auction there January 2017.

The national auction house has been expanding its geographic footprint since being acquired by Copart in June 2017. In addition to the facility in Pennsylvania, NPA operates out of Atlanta, Cincinnati, Dallas, and San Diego, with more expansion “on the radar,” Woodruff said. NPA plans to launch a new facility in the Midwest in the near future.
