NPA Sets Volume Record at Grand Opening of New Facility

National Powersports Auction’s newest facility set a company record last week for motorcycle sales in the state, Director of Marketing Ryan Keefe told Powersports Finance.

NPA sold 415 motorcycles — with a combined price tag in excess of $3 million — at the Bristol, Pa., auction and hour outside of Philadelphia. The previous volume record was 365 motorcycles. In all, 339 dealers across 39 states participated in the auction, though 90% of them bid online using NPA’s simulcast software.

“We set a new record for volume this month, and feedback from our dealers and clients has been tremendous,” Keefe said.

NPA opened its original Pennsylvania auction in January 2017. Last month, the company moved to a 110,000-square-foot building — four times larger than the previous facility.

“For Philadelphia to be open a little over a year and already producing [one third] the volume as our other locations is impressive,” Keefe said. “It was this growing volume that motivated us to move into our new building.”

NPA holds auctions at four other locations nationwide, offering between 1,200 and 1,500 powersports vehicles a month.
