Polaris showcased its 2021 snowmobile lineup earlier this month at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. The offering includes 16 new models, a new engine and the new Matryx platform.
More than 100,000 customization options are available through the Polaris SnowCheck program, with options available for models such as the all-new Indy VR1, the Switchback Assault 146, the RMK Khaos and the PRO RMK. Spring customers can also choose engine options such as the 850 Patriot, now also available in season, and the all-new 650 Patriot
The 650 Patriot delivers up to 60% improved fuel efficiency, 10% more power and 14% more torque when compared to the Liberty 600 Cleanfire engine.
The Polaris RMK line of snowmobiles will feature the QuickDrive2, a lightweight drive system that features a low-inertia design and 10% gearing reduction, resulting in reduced rider effort, quicker response and instantaneous lift.
Both the Indy VR1 and Switchback Assault 146 models are built upon the Matryx platform, which allows for enhanced rider control and more room for maneuverability.
Pricing for the 2021 models has not yet been announced. SnowCheck customers can order the vehicles during the spring order period, which began March 2 and runs until April 15.
