Yamaha Motor Corp. USA introduced a new “step into the victorYZone” teaser video, which points to the OEM’s new youth motocross model.
The video opens to a dimly-lit shop with a father’s new YZ-450F parked in the foreground. Next to it, is what viewers can assume is the child’s new motocross bike, perched in the shadows. The scene shifts to the workbench where the father — presumably — is showing the child how to apply numbers on the plate for his new bike.
It’s unclear if the number 65 on the plate alludes to the new motocross model in some form.
“With the addition of this exciting new motorcycle, riders of nearly all ages will be able to join the bLU cRU,” Derek Brooks, Yamaha’s motorcycle product line manager, said in a company statement. “This all-new bike builds on Yamaha’s renowned history of performance and durability, helping young riders step onto the top of the podium and into the victorYZone.”
Yamaha is expected to announce more information on the victorYZone in February 2018.
